PRIN Borderline – Final Conference: L’ibridazione della lotta alla criminalità attraverso misure non penali o di confine (Rome, 19 February 2026)

On Thursday, 19 February 2026 at 10:30 a.m., in the “Sala delle Colonne” at the Viale Pola Campus in Rome, Luiss University will host the conference titled “L’ibridazione della lotta alla criminalità attraverso misure non penali o di confine. Presentazione dei risultati del PRIN Borderline.”

The conference marks the concluding event of the PRIN 2022 Borderline project (Principal Investigator: A. Gullo), carried out in collaboration with the University of Naples Federico II, Unitelma Sapienza, and the Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies (unit coordinators: G. Amarelli, V. Mongillo, G. Morgante).

The event will be structured into four thematic sessions—compliance measures, anti-mafia preventive measures, civil sanctions and confiscation. It will present the project’s research findings, currently being published by Giappichelli, and will provide an opportunity for discussion between academics (R. Bartoli, G. De Simone, V. Manes, C. Mangione) and members of the judiciary (A. Mondini, C. Santoriello, P. Silvestri, D. Tripiccione).

The conference will conclude with remarks by Professor F. Viganò, Vice President of the Italian Constitutional Court.
