On October 14, 2025, Luiss University will host the seminar “Civil Punitive Sanctions (Legislative Decree No. 7/2016): (Dis-)Tortions of the Trial, Effectiveness and Safeguards”, organized within the 2022 PRIN “Borderline” project. The event will take place at 3:30 PM in Room 15 on the Luiss Campus (Via Parenzo 11 – Rome).
The seminar will focus on the constitutional guarantees and procedural aspects of the civil punitive sanctions introduced by Legislative Decree No. 7/2016. It will also provide an opportunity for a first presentation of the research findings concerning the practical application of the this sanctioning framework.
The seminar will be introduced and chaired by Prof. Antonio Gullo, Principal Investigator of the PRIN “Borderline” project. Speakers will include Prof. Ferruccio Auletta (Luiss University), Prof. Filippo Corsini(University of Modena and Reggio Emilia), Cecilia De Nicola (State Attorney), Prof. Filippo Raffaele Dinacci(Luiss University), Dr. Marco Mossa Verre (Post-doc Research Fellow in Criminal Law, Luiss University), and Federica Pittau (Ph.D. Candidate in Criminal Law, Luiss University).
