Roberta De Paolis

Roberta De Paolis is Post-Doc Fellow at Sant’Anna’s School of Advanced Studies, where she obtained cum laude her Phd in Criminal Law with the thesis “Dealing with the Deals: Settlement Agreements for National and International Corporate Bribery”. She has been Visiting Research Fellow at Harvard Law School and Duke Law School, exchange student at Universidad Torcuato di Tella and visiting student at New York University School of Law and École Normale Supérieure. She also attended the Summer School “Business Crime: U.S. Enforcement Against Multinational Corporations for Corruption and Fraud” at the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH). She authored the monograph Confisca di prevenzione e Civil Asset Forfeiture. Una lezione americana, una proposta europea which was awarded by the Giovanni Falcone Foundation as the second-best graduation thesis. She attended international conferences and networks ( e.g. European Criminal Law Academic Network; International Society of Public Law; Biennial International Conference Criminal Justice and Security in Central and Eastern Europe ) and national and international research projects (e.g. CERV-2021-DAPHNE Engine; Business Integrity Forum; (LEI) Legality, Ethics, Inclusion: For an Efficient and Participatory System to Prevent Corruption Within the Public Administration)
